Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the disturbance of the frequency characteristics due to the divided vibrations of the diaphragm by attaching the additional mass to the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Drive point P2 of diaphragm 1 due to voice coil 4 is set more inside than logical node P1 of the divided vibrations of diaphgram 1, and additional mass 15 is attached at the four corners each. Thus mass 15 of the proper weight is attached at the proper position of diaphragm to prevent occurrence of the divided vibrations of diaphragm 1 and then to improve the frequency properties. This is due to the fact: in case point P2 is set more inside than point P1, the weight balance of diaphragm 1 is shifted to outside from inside virtually by attaching mass 15 more outside than point P1; and as a result the overall balance can be improved for diaphragm 1.
