Abstract

PURPOSE: To make DC-summing-up characteristic flat as much as possible by laminating single core plates wherein variation in coil inductance gradually increases with the increase in a summed-up DC and single core plates wherein variation in coil inductance gradually decreases.
CONSTITUTION: A coil 1 is formed as follows. A core 2 is formed by using raw materials which are obtained by punching directional silicon-steel band. A thin gap is provided in each raw material so that it crosses one side of the material. The raw materials are laminated and fastened together with attaching plates 4a and 4b so as to form one body. A bobbin 7, around which coils 5 and 6 are wound is attached to the one side of the core. A single-core plate wherein variation in coil inductance graduall increases with the increase in a summed-up DC is laminated with another single-core plate wherein variation in coil inductance gradually decreases with the increase in summed-up DC. The lamination step is repeated by using an adequate number of the core plates. By this method, the induction coil having the laminated core, whose DC-summing up characteristic is flat can be obtained.
