Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate water securely even through suction flow rate is increased by method wherein gas is separated from water-containing gas supplied to a first passage, turns in another direction in the back stage of the passage, is passed through a connecting part and sucked into a second passage.
CONSTITUTION: Water-containing gas 8 is sucked into a first passage 5 by means of electrically driven blower. During the passing of the gas through the passage, heavy water component in the form of fog drops from a gas-water separating part 10 onto a reservoir 1. In this case, the gas 8 is passed through the underside of the horizontal plane 12 of a turning wall 13, turns from the upper part in the opposite direction and is sucked through a connecting part 15 into a second passage 7 to reduce the flow rate of the gas. As a result, only gas ascends and is sucked through a discharge part 16 into a dust-collecting part of a vacuum cleaner. Even through the passages 5, 7 are short, a space between the passage 5 and the reservoir 1 is narrow, and airflow rate is increased, the gas can turn at an actute angle in another direction and water can securely be separated.
