Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a structure, facilitate manufacture and heighten measurement precision by providing a fewer number of main fuel measurement parts than the number of cylinders and plural branch passages which branch off from the said measurement part and are connected to the cylinder as well as throttle valves which are interlocked for switching per branch passage.
CONSTITUTION: Cylinders 2a, 2b are arranged in series on an engine and connected to branch passages 10a, 10b downstream of the venturi part 6 of carburetor. Fuel supplied from main nozzle 4 is blended with a suction gas and the blended fuel supplied to cylinders 2a, 2b passing through space in the neighborhood of throttle valves 5a, 5b located inside each branch passage 10a, 10b. Near throttle valve 5a, idle hole 7 and bypass hole 8 of the slow fuel supply system are opened. In addition, near idle hole 7, idle adjustment screw 9 is installed. Branch passage 10 is constituted in the same way. Slow passages 11a, 11b connected to the afore-mentioned holes 7, 8 are connected to slow fuel measurement part 13 through distribution jets 12a, 12b.
