Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase control accuracy by using the magnetic equivalent circuit of an induction motor, and controlling the speed and position in proportion to the magnetic flux obtained from the circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The stator magnetomotive force vector viewed from a rotor co- ordinate is calculated from a stator current vector obtained from a current detector 2; a rotor position vector obtained from a rotor position detector PS; and the effective number of turns of the stator. The calculated results are added to the magnetic equivalent circuit of the induction motor IM, and an open interlinkage magnetic flux vector viewed from the rotor co-ordinate is then calculated. The obtained output is compared with the desired magnetic flux set value and torque component current set value, and the difference between them is taken out as a command value of the stator current vector, which is further compared with the fixed current detected by the current detector 2. The difference is feedbacked to a power converter 1.
