Abstract

PURPOSE: To stably analyze a liquid to be inspected continuously and automatically by simple structure, by a method wherein a surface of a detector is contacted with the liquid to be inspected carried by a tape, and ionic concentration in the liquid to be inspected is detected.
CONSTITUTION: When a tape 13 carrying a liquid to be inspected is fed in the arrow head direction at a fixed speed by means of a roller 7, the tape of a feed reel 2 is guided by means of a roller 6 and passes in the liquid to be inspected 5, and the liquid to be inspected is carried to a liquid absorbing portion of the tape. When the liquid absorbing portion slides on the front of a detector 8, electric potential corresponding to ionic concentration in the liquid to be inspected is produced, and the electric potential is amplified by means of a measuring portion 12, and indicated on an indicating board 11. Ionic, selective electrodes manufactured by pasting a laminar comparison electrode 14 and an indicating electrode 15 through an insulator 16 are used for the detector 8, and terminals 17, 17' are mounted to the detector.
