Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a clear colored printing unique in the cation dye while a hygroscopicity and a feeling of touch peculiar to cellulose fibers are maintained by a process wherein cellulose fibers are estelized by sulfuric acid in advance and then the fibers are pattern printed by cation dye, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Mixed aquenous solution of sulfuric acid or sulfanuic acid anmonium and urea is impregnated into cellulose fibrous products, heat dried, sufficiently washed with water, dried and estelized by sulfuric acid. Excessive volume of urea will show a less processing effect. Excessive volume of sulfamic acid of its anmonium salt will show an excessive decrease of polymerization degree due to a decomposition of the cellulose. The processed cellulose fiber products are dry copy printed by a normal heating and pressurizing process by using a copying sheet containing cation dye or its derivative as a coloring agent.
