Abstract

A process for dyeing and printing textile materials, which consist of a mixture of cellulose fibres and polyester fibres, by means of aqueous padding liquors or printing pastes which contain coupling components and aminoazo compounds suitable for the formation of azo dyestuffs, characterized in that the aminoazo compounds contain no sulphonic acid groups. Blends containing more than 50% of polyester may be printed successfully using a steam development process.
