Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a heating surface with a porous layer on a heating substrate with ease by a process wherein a meltable conductor is applied with impulsive current, making the conductor disperse, collide and settle on the substrate.
CONSTITUTION: Fed with an impulsive current equivalent to a voltage charged in a capacitor 10, a meltable conductor 7 is melted and dispersed instantaneously. The conductor thus granulated impacts against and cut securely into a heating substrate 7 provided facing the conductor 7. With repetition of the procedures several times, a porous layer is formed on the substrate 2 with extreme ease.
