Abstract
PURPOSE: To speedily and completely gasify a liquid fuel in a high frequency heater by employing a burner body having a large fuel contacting surface, and an induction coil wound therearound, whereby the fuel in the burner body can be gasified and burnt excellently.
CONSTITUTION: In order to conduct a combustion operation, an electromagnetic induction coil 7 is energized by high frequency current from an oscillator 8 to form a magnetic field therein, and a magnetic material 3 in a burner body 1 instantly generates heat by the electromagnetic induction effect. A pressure liquid fuel is fed into the burner body 1 through a combustion regulator valve 6 to be gasified by the magnetic material. The burner body 1 has a porous construction consisting of a non-magnetic cylinder made of quartz, and a granulated magnetic material 3, such as scrap-iron packed in the cylinder. Therefore, the area of fuel contacting surface of the burner body 1 is increased so that the liquid fuel can be completely gasified. The gasified particles of fuel are ejected from the end of a nozzle 3 as they are drawn by an acceleration current from a fan 13. The fuel particles thus ejected from the nozzle 13 are ignited by an ignition plug 17 to be burnt.
