Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a liquid injection type recording head having a high performance and high yield by configuring an orifice with a resin hardened film. CONSTITUTION:The base plate 2 comprising metal and the like where a plurality of long grooves 1 are preliminarily machined is joined with a flat plate 3 made of the same material thereof for defining a liquid chamber section 4 constituting the main element of a recording head. The side surface having apertures 5a-5c of the section 4 is adhered with a resin liquid 6 such as polyurethane. The diameter of the apertures 5a-5c is normally sized about 100X100mu- 300X300mu. They are easily reduced to the orifice sized 5-80mu dia. The aperture diameters of the discharge orifices and their cross sections may be determined according to the viscosity of resin liquid, the adjustment of the surface tension, and numbers of coatings. The surface tension of the resin liquid 6 allows to self-act for opening the coated apertures. Besides, this enables to open easily by using a fine wire for the case difficult to open.
