Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable printing from the start of an injection by providing an orifice having a diameter same as the head for the position between a three way valve and an ink resevoir. CONSTITUTION:For an ink jet plotter providing an accumulator 14 for the location between a non-pulsating rotary pump 2 admitting an ink within an ink reservoir 1 and a head 16 for developing a constant pressure, a three way valve 15 is provided between the pump 2 and the head 16 for changing the ink flow to the head 16 direction or the ink reservoir direction. Besides, an orifice 17 having a diameter same as the head 16 is provided between the three way valve 15 and the ink reservoir 1 by allowing the conditions of ink flow flowing back from the three way valve 15 to the ink reservoir 1 passing through the orifice 17 from the pump start to the injection start to make same as the normal injection conditions.
