Abstract

A plunger (16) carries a piston (5) at its upper end which is depressed by atmospheric pressure against a spring (20) in the cylindrical body. At its lower end, the plunger has a needle valve (17) which moves in the slow running jet (11). The fuel from the jet flows past the valve into the air passage (22) which is drilled transversely through the body above the needle valve (17). The body contains a valve seat (8) on the upper side of the valve.
