CONSTITUTION: A spiral curve 4 is located along a surface of virtual cylinder 3 by making a spiral angle of ϕ with respect to the circumferential direction of surface of the virtual cylinder 3. And a rotor 2, with its rotary axis 2-1 perpendicularly intersecting this spiral curve 4 and in perpendicular also to a diametrical direction of the virtual cylinder 3, is arranged with a space provided. In this way, a direction of circumferential speed of the rotor at the point of contact of the rotor 2 to a steel sheet 1 being coincident with a tangential direction of the spiral curve 4, the steel sheet 1 can be changed its progressing direction along the spiral curve 4. And with a zigzag motion detected amount inputted to a controller 9 from a zigzag motion detector 8, an electric motor 7 is operated to rotate a cylinder 6, and a direction can be corrected after a change of the progressive direction.
