PURPOSE:To keep replenishing solutions stable before addition, by separately preparing a replenishment solution containing aminopolycarboxylic acid ferric complex salt and a replenishment solution containing thiosulfate and sulfite and directly replenishing each to a bleach fixing solution. CONSTITUTION:Replenishment solution (A) containing by about 0.3moll or more a ferric complex salt of aminopolycarboxylic acid represented by formula I or II (A1-A6 are each an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group; Z is a hydrocarbon group, O, S, or =N-A7; and A7 is a hydrocarbon group or lower aliphatic carboxylic acid), such as ferric sodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate, and a replenishment solution (B) containing by about 1mol/l or more, thiosulfate (a), such as potassium, sodium, or ammonium thiosulfate, and sulfite (b) by about 0.3mol/l or more, such as ammonium or potassium sulfite are separately prepared, mixing of them is substantially avoided before addition to the bleach fixing bath, and both are directly added to the bath for use.
