Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized gear pump of low pressure and large flux by providing several pairs of mutually-engaging gears inside a casing. CONSTITUTION:A casing 1 is composed of a cylinder body 2 and flanges 4 and 5 fixed by a bolt 3 to close the both ends of the cylinder body. In the casing 1, a partition plate 6 is arranged to form two gear chambers 7 and 8, in each of which a pair of mutually-engaging gears, namely, an inner gears 10 and an outer gears 11 are respectively provided. On both sides of the above-written partition plate 6, sealing pieces 14 with a crescent-shaped section are respectively provided in one body. Thus, in the casing 1, suction chambers 15 and discharge chambers 16 shaped in their outer shells by above-written parts 10, 11, 6 and 14 are respectively formed by the number of gear-pairs. Besides, in the casing 1, a suction port 17 connected to the suction chamber 15, and a discharge port 18 connected to the discharge chamber 16 are respectively provided each by one.
