Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of a wire of a printing head, by detecting the decrease of speed produced in the case when a tip of the wire of the printing head is caught by an obstacle, and by stopping a carrier by comparing detecting speed and abnormal speed beforehand set.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed speed from a fixed speed set instrument 11 is input, a motor 7 is started and a carrier 3 is rectilinearly moved by means of a screw shaft 2. Pulses corresponding to the travelling speed of the carrier are simultaneously put out from a pulse generator 8, a speed counter 9 counts pulse number per a fixed time interval by clock input at fixed time intervals put out from a control circuit 13, the travelling speed of the carrier is detected, and the speed and the fixed speed input from the set instrument 11 are compared by means of a comparator 10. The detecting speed is compared with abnormal speed input from an abnormal speed set instrument 12, and the motor 7 is suspended when the detecting speed is lower than the abnormal speed.
