Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain high-precision initial values of random numbers by designating addresses by an address counter before initialization and reading successively random data from a refresh RAM to obtain numeric data of a prescribed number of digits.
CONSTITUTION: When power is supplied to a computer, contents of address counter 4 and refresh RAM5 become random values. Then, addresses of RAM5 used for data storage of the computer are designated by counter 4 before initialization, and random data is read successively from RAM5 to obtain numeric value of a prescribed number of digits. As a result, high-precision initial values of random numbers can be obtained with a simple constitution by utilizing this obtained numeric data as the initial value for random number calculation.
