Abstract

PURPOSE: To make adjustment easy, make the exchange intervals of members longer and achieve higher cleaning effect by letting macromolecular porous material contact a photoreceptor thereby wipening away the residual toner.
CONSTITUTION: The residual toner remaining on the surface of the photoreceptor is destaticized together with the photoreceptor 1 by a destaticizer 9 and is completely removed by a cleaner 11 made of porous material 10. E.g., nylon, polyurethane, tetrafluoroethylene or the like is used for this macromolecular porous member and the particles of the residual toner surely bite in the porous multipore surfaces thereof, whereby the toner is removed from the photoreceptor surface. This results in easier adjustment, higher cleaning effect and the feasibility of prolonging the exchange intervals of members.
