CONSTITUTION:A developing part is provided with a developing sleeve 2, a drawing-up sleeve 3, an upper agitating blade 8, a lower agitating blade 9, etc., and the rotation number of the sleeve 3 and the blade 9 is made variable. In this constitution, when the rotation number of the sleeve 3 and the blade 9 is increased to a prescribed value for every 10,000 developed pictures, good pictures without a dirt of the ground are obtained even after reproduction of 40,000 copies. The rotation number is increased to prevent the lowering of the charged quantity of the developer in this manner, thereby holding the initial picture quality well.
