Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the accuracy and efficiency of cutting-off, by setting numerous workpieces above and below a wire so that the workpieces can be moved in between one another and by thrusting the workpieces up or down onto the wire. CONSTITUTION:A wire 1 is wound by twenty to two hundred turns around guide rollers 2, 2, 4. The driving guide roller 4 is rotated back and forth alternately so that the wire 1 is moved at a speed of 20-150m/min, a new wire 16 enters at a speed of 0-10m/min in a direction (a) and an abraded wire 18 goes out in a diection D. Workpieces 3 are bonded on an upper support 5a or a lower support 5D. The workpieces are thrusted up or down onto the wire 15. As a result, the workpieces are accurately cut off.
