Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the resolution, by providing compensatory detectors near a main detector to compensate the fall in the resolution.
CONSTITUTION: Compensatory detectors 3Q, 3R are provided near around a main detector 3p. A temperature signal obtained from the main detector is applied to a subtraction circuit 7 through an amplifier 6. Temperature signals obtained from the compensatory detectors 3Q, 3R are applied to the subtraction circuit 7 through amplifiers 8, 9 and attenators 10, 11. The detectors 3p, 3Q, 3R are manufactured on a same substrate and have equal ratings, characteristics and others. The signals of the compensatory detectors 3Q, 3R are subtracted from that of the main detector 3p. A signal resulting from the subtraction is an accurate signal removed of information on ambient conditions. As a result, a sharp image of improved resolution is shown on a display unit 5.
