Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent generation of usual cracks, and to manufacture titled dies suitable for the wire drawing work, by cementing the dies prepared from the diamond ore, etc., integrally with the metallic case at the specified position in the cavity formed in the metallic case, using the synthetic resin, etc., via a wire through hole.
CONSTITUTION: The cavity 4 is installed in the metallic case 3, with a suitable sectional profile, and a large volume as compared with the volume of the dies 1, and the central axis equal to the axis of the wire through hole 5; the dies 1 is propared from the diamond ore 2 or from the sintered alloy piece being studded with the diamond ore 2; this dies 1 is placed on the bottom of the cavity 4; and the open mouth forming part 8 is vertically set on the dies 1 so as to be coaxial with the dies 1. Then, the synthetic resin 6 containing or excluding the reinforcing fibers is poured into the cavity 4 and is pressure cured so as to be integrated with the metallic case 3. According to this method, the titled dies 2 can be manufactured, and with which the heating temperature and heating frequency of the diamond ore 2 is reduced as compared with the convertional method, the quality deterioration due to cracks and carburization is perfectly prevented, and the wire drawing work is made easy and smooth.
