Abstract

PURPOSE: To make compensation control of fuel supply rate for optimizing the fuel consumption of next cycle combustion by fitting an O2-sensor for detecting air-fuel ratio directly from the already-combusted gas in the combustion chamber of cylinders.
CONSTITUTION: The terminal 19 of an O2-sensor 4 fitted on an igniting plug 20 is connected to a flip-flop circuit 22 via a comparator 21 generating pulses only when detection voltage is higher than reference voltage. The corrector side voltage signal V0 of a swirching transistor 24 controlled by the flip-flop circuit 22 compensates the injection pulse signal g3 for controlling a fuel injection valve 26 of a fuel injection pulse generating circuit 25 in accordance with the signals representing engine revolutions NE, air suction rate Qa, exhaust gas temperature Ta and cooling water temperature TW.
