Abstract
PURPOSE: To impart oil-decomposition removal power to the surface of an utensil by coating at least twice the interior face of the cooking utensil box with a paint obtained by using heat resisting paint as base and adding an oxide of element selected from Groups IA and IIA of the Periodic Table or a compound contg. the oxides to the heat resisting paint.
CONSTITUTION: The interior faces of box type utensils such as all kinds of ovens are coated at least twice with a paint prepared by using heat resisting paint as base and adding (a) an oxide of element selected from Groups IA and IIA of the Periodic Table (e.g. CaO, Na2O, MgO, K2O, etc) or (b) one or more cpds. contg. an oxide of the above (a) and having formula (MA)x(MB)y(O)z (wherein MA is an element of the Group IA or IIA, MB is an element of the Group IIIB or IVB, O is oxygen, and X, Y, Z is an integer) to the heat resisting paint. The coating is cured by baking, thereby a coating having oil-decomposition removal power is produced.
