Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish checking of the state detection circuit for troubles at the starting by energizing the output relay only when the supply power and the current discharged from the capacitor overlap each other while the semiconductor switching element is rendered conductive by a state detector.
CONSTITUTION: When the transistor Q1 is off receiving no output signal of a state detector 1 for detecting conditions including temperature, pressure and the existence of flame, the capacitor C1 is charged with the current fed through a transformer 3 from the AC power source 2 in one direction up to the peak level through a diode D1. Then, when the transistor Q1 turns on by the output signal of the state detector 1, fed with a current in the overlapping of the current discharged from the capacitor C1 and the supply current fed via the diode D1, the relay K1 comes into operation. However, the relay K1 fails to work when the transistor Q1 turns on before the capacitor D1 is charged up to the given level. In this manner, the action for checking the safety can be obtained.
