Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing process and to increase the separation and independent nature of each piezoelectric vibrator, by forming the array with separation and cutting of each element, after the formation of the piezoelectric vibration element layer and the audio matching layer on the holder. CONSTITUTION:On the holder 1, the piezoelectric vibration element layer 2 providing the electrodes 3 and 4 such as Ag is layered and fixed at the both sides. Next, on the electrode 4 of the vibration element layer 2, the audio matching layer 5 consisting of molten quartz is provided. The thickness of the matching layer 5 is determined to 1/4 wave length for ultrasonic waves including the thickness of adhesives. Further, the laminated vibration element layer 2, matching layer 5 and the electrode 3 and 4 are cut off from the upper side with a given interval to form separated oscillation elements.
