Abstract
PURPOSE:To establish the piezoelectric resonator, possible for high density mounting, small in size, simple in manufacture and low in cost, by the constitution laminating a plurality of piezoelectric resonators differenct in the resonant frequency. CONSTITUTION:At the both sides of the piezoelectric sutstrate 11 of ceramic polished into a given thickness, a plurality of electrodes 12a, 12b (only 12a is shown in Fig.) are formed with a given distance. Further, to the electrodes 12a, (12b), external terminals 13a, 13b of comb type are prepared, and while these are bonded corresponding to each electrode(12a) 12b, other substrates 11 different in the resonant frequency and constituted as abovementioned are laminated for the plurality via the bonding part of the external terminals 13a and 13b and are unified. After that, the part between each electrode 12a, (12b) is cut off broadwisely the substrate 11 to obtain the resonant group selecting and combining the desired resonant frequency.
