Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a plate of high productivity with rich reactivity, by mixing an organic solvent solution of alkali resistant high molecular material and an active material powder, and applying a paste to which other solution, compatible to this solvent and not soluble for high molecular material, is added. CONSTITUTION:To an organic solvent solution of alkali resistant high molecular material like 10% cyclohexane solution of ethylene propylene rubber, is mixed an active material powder of the product by mixing 10wt.pt of metallic cadmium powder and 90wt.pt of cadmium oxide powder. To the above, is added a second solution of, for instance, 2% alcohol solution of hydroxy propyl cellulose, though having a compatibility not soluble for the above described high molecular material, and kneaded to prepare the paste, and applied to the plate core unit by the method of calender, being dried to construct the plate. For the mixing proportion, it is preferable to add the first solution of 15wt.pt. to the active material powder and further add the second solution of 15wt.pt.
