Abstract

1525331 Reacting polybutylene terephthalate and a bisepoxide BASF AG 16 Jan 1976 [18 Jan 1975] 01727/76 Heading C3R A composition comprises polybutylene terephthalate, a bisepoxide and a catalyst for the cross-linking of the polyester and bisepoxide. The bisepoxide is preferably present in an amount of from 0À5 to 8% by weight, based on the composition, and the catalyst is preferably present in an amount of from 0À01 to 1% by weight, based on the composition. The composition may include a reinforcing filler, e.g. glass fibres.
