Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a net like or a crepe like appearance of a photosensitive paper surface and the ''copying irregularity'' phenomena during copying by maintaining the temperature difference of a coating chamber and a drying chamber at a specific temperature range in case of coating and drying a photosensitive layer on the substrate surface of a photosensitive paper. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive paper substrate 1 unwound from a wound roll 2 is introduced into a coating chamber 3 and a precoat liquid within a receiving tray 4 is coated on the surface of the substrate 1 by a coating roller 5, threreafter passed through a drying chamber 6 to dry and introduced a coating chamber 7 to coat a back coat liquid in a receiving tray 8 on the back side surface thereof by a coating roller 9.
