Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase degreasing power of a degreasing fluid and to reduce the running cost, by passing the degreasing fluid having been used in a degreasing step through an oil-water separator in order to purify it, and by circulating the purified fluid to the degreasing setp. CONSTITUTION:A degreasing fluid having been used in a machine shop or a painting plant is passed through an oil-water separator 1 such as API, PPI, or CPI etc. and the floated oil is removed. The fluid is then passed through a packed tank 3 for removing emulsion by means of a pump 2, hereby the floated oil, which has beed improved in separability, and emulsified oil is removed. The degreasing fluid separated from oil and purified is circulated to the degreasing step. The regenerating method for the degreasing fluid purifies the degreasing fluid by complete separation, recovery, and removal of oil including emulsified oil with little change in total alkalinity, free alkalinity, and pH which affect the degreasing effect.
