Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep the freshness of green vegetables for a long time, easily, with a simple procedure, by wrapping the vegetables with a polyolefin resin film partly bonded to the inner walls of a corrugated cardboard box, thereby maintaining the airtight state of the box.
CONSTITUTION: A polyolefin resin film 2 having a moisture permeability of 10W 50g/m2.24hrs, an oxygen permeability of 1,000W10,000cc/m2.24hrs, and a carbon dioxide permeability of 4,000W40,000cc/m2.24hrs, or a sheet of paper laminated with said polyolefin film, is partly bonded to the inner walls of a corrugated cardboard box 3. Green vegetables 4 to be stored are put into the box together with a fresh-keeping agent such as activated charcoal, the upper parts of the polyolefin resin film 2 are lapped each other, and the flap of the cardboard box 3 is closed.
