Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title resist ink which can be printed and dried rapidly, and washed with water without fear of fire hazard, composed mainly of hydroxypropyl cellulose and an organic solvent which dissolves hydroxypropyl cellulose.
CONSTITUTION: A sanding resist ink composition composed mainly of (A) 3W 20wt% of hydroxypropyl cellulose and (B) an organic solvent which dissolves the (A) component, e.g. methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, n-propyl alcohol, acetone, ethyl acetate, and methyl ethyl ketone. When the amount of (A) component is less than 3wt%, the coating film has poor resistance, and when it exceeds 20wt%, the viscosity of the composition becomes too high which results in poor printability.
