Abstract
PURPOSE: To hold the internal temp. of the firing furnace of a sintering machine at a set temp. by calculating the sum total of fuel regulation quantities with a computer in accordance with a deviation between the measured value of the internal temp. and a set value, a change in pallet moving speed and a change in suction blast vol. of sintering raw material vetilation to adjust a fuel flow rate control valve.
CONSTITUTION: Sintering raw material on pallet 13 is fired in firing furnace 3 and moved in the arrow 12 direction. At this time, the internal temp. of furnace 3 measured with thermometer 6, the set temp. of temp. setter 4, the suction blast vol. detected with suction blast vol. meter 7 for sintering raw material ventilation placed in sintering machine wind box 11, the pallet 13 moving speed detected with speedmeter 8, etc. are sent into computer 2. Computer 2 adds previously memorized suction blast vol. and pallet speed, operates fuel regulation quantities corresponding to deviations of temp., blast vol. and pallet speed in operation system 2B, outputs the sum total of the quantities to control system 2A of computer 2, and actuates control valve 9 with fuel flow rate regulator 1, whereby the amt. of fuel in the sintering raw material is adjusted to automatically hold the internal temp. of furnace 3 at the desired set temp.
