Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the troubles such as wear, seizure, etc. of contact face parts during no-load running by providing the fluid injection nozzle which opens to the contact face between an annular body which is slidable in the axial direction of a rotator and a stationary cylinder and further transmitting the operation command of the nozzle between the movement quantity detector in the axial direction of the annular body and the nozzle, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A drive unit 15 is driven to rotate the screw of a screw press body 12 by way of a speed reducer 19, sprocket 20, chain 21 and sprocket 22. The raw material charged from the inlet side 1 moves to the outlet side 2 while receiving dehydration action and finally the annular body 6 is moved in the axial direction, then the raw material becomes dehydrate cake 24 and this cake is discharged from the clearance 23 made between the annular body 6 and screen. At the no-load running, the deteection of the movement quantity of the annular body 6 by the movement quantity detector 14 of the annular body is not accomplished and only the rotation driving of the screw is detected by way of a circuit 16 which in turns opens an automatic valve 17, thence water injection from a nozzle 13 is accomplished.
