Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove cake by moving a cleaning element by a mechanism wherein a movable cleaning element is provided in a contact manner to a peripheral surface of a prefilter of a cylindrical filter wherein a prefilter is provided on a peripheral surface of a main filter and a flowing direction from an introducing port of a first and a second stock liquid is converted.

CONSTITUTION: In general use, a switch valve 16 is switched to the side of a first stock liquid introducing port C shown at the arrow and, because a port D is closed, a stock solution is flowed upwardly from a hole 15 of a lower press plate 9 along the arrow of solid line, thereafter filtered by a prefilter 12 and supplied to a main filter 5 to take out the filtrate from a discharging port A. In this time, a cleaning element 13 has been pushed upwardly to the upper and portion. When the switch valve 16 is switched to the side of a second stock liquid introducing port, the stock liquid is flowed along the arrow of dotted line and the cleaning element 13 is pushed downwardly from the upper end portion to the lower end portion to remove filter cake on the surface of the prefilter and discharge from the port D.
