Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily discharge the cake by a mechanism wherein plural filtering machine units having a plain filter body are put side by side and a main body of an apparatus is rotated freely so as to be horizontal during filtering process and vertical during cake exhausting process.
CONSTITUTION: A filter main body is arranged to a vertical direction and a liquid to be treated is introduced into each filtering machine unit from a pressure supply pipe 15 through a main pipe 13, a branched pipe 12 and a pressure inlet port. The filtrate is passed through mesh openings of a porous filter plate and discharged from an exhausting pipe 19 through a exhausting port, a branched pipe 16 and a main pipe 17. Thereafter, for example, pressurized air supplied from a pressurized air pipe 14 is introduced under pressure through the main pipe 13, the branched pipe 12 and the pressure inlet port to remove liquid. Moreover, for example, in case of carrying out the reaction, adsorption and the like of the cake, a treating agent is similarly introduced from the pressure supply pipe 15. When the process such as filtering, liquid removal, reaction and the like are completed, the main body of the apparatus is rotated to arrange to traverse direction and the cake deposited on the filter cloth is shaken off or scraped downwardly after a cover is opened.
