Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The fluid supplied to a flow course 16 reaches the through hole 10 of an elliptical rotor 9 through a flow course 14 to press a piston 11 against the surface of a swash plate 8 with a shoe. Force is generated to transfer to a thin portion along the surface of the slant board 8 so that the rotor 9 is rotated with a circular column 7 as center. When a through hole 10 containing fluid opens at passage 15, the piston 11 is pushed back by the swash plate 8, and fluid is discharged through passages 15 and 17. When the rotor 9 rotates, in the meanwhile, the elliptical flex spline 5 transfers in the same direction as the rotor 9 while engaging with the circulus spline 6. At this time, a casing 1 turns in opposite direction over a distance corresponding to the difference of the quantity of teeth between the both splines 5 and 6 so that low speed and large torque can be obtained.
