Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the inconvenience to be caused by the drawing of fuel to the negative pressure outlet, by providing at least two negative pressure outlets on the upper and lower stream sides in the neighborhood of a throttle valve of a suction passage, and linking them to a negative pressure coordinator via a chamber provided below.
CONSTITUTION: Negative pressure outlets 5, 6 take out the suction negative pressure in the neighborhood of throttle valve 4 in suction passage 2 and draws it to negative pressure coordinator 9. At this time, when the fuel inside suction passage 2 enters negative pressure outlets 5, 6, the fuel remains at the bottom of chamber 7 below, and the suction negative pressure is transferred to negative pressure coordinator 9 smoothly via the space on the upper side. Further, the fuel in the chamber 7 is returned to suction passage 2 via negative pressure outlet 6 on the lower side. Consequently, the chamber is never filled with fuel. That is, the suction negative pressure becomes comparatively large at negative pressure outlet 6 on the lower side, and this negative pressure functions to suck the fuel inside the chamber and return it to passage 2.
