Abstract
PURPOSE: To imporve heat transmission as well as preventing the vibration of heat transmission tube by disposing the inner tube for reducing the area of flow cross section of inner fluid, allowing the flow of inner fluid to make in parallel with heat transmission tube.
CONSTITUTION: The center section of the shell 1 of a heat exchanger is provided with the hollow inner tube extending in an axial direction thereof, wherein a balance hole 10 is disposed properly so as to prevent from the deformation caused by the pressure of the shell inner fluid. The inner tube 9 is secured to the disk 12 with the stay 11, securing to space the disk 12 by the stay 13 mutually. This allows the shell inner fluid to flow into the shell from the fluid inlet 3, flowing in parallel with the heat transmission tube 2, discharging through the fluid exit 4 while the flow is disturbed with the stay disposed across the flow. Consequently, the vibration of the tube is prevented due to flowing in parallel with the heat transmission tube. The reduction of heat transfer caused by parallel flow can be improved by the turbulent flow caused by the stay.
