Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent unstable fluidity while facilitating the manufacture and maintenance by use of open-ended long tubes each with a diameter smaller than the heat transferring tube inserted into the opening on the inlet side thereof with a stationary plate closing the inlet of the tube fixed on the shell.
CONSTITUTION: Open-ended inner tubes 16 each with an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of downward tubes 5A are inserted into respective openings on the inlet side of the tubes. Outside the water feed plate 6, a stationary plate 17 for closing the inlet opening of the tubes 5A is fixed on the shell. Holes 17a which are drilled on the stationary plate 17 to have the inner tubes inserted through are so positioned that the center point thereof aligns the axis of the downward tubes. This prevents the unstable fluidity. As all the inner tubes are fixed on the same stationary plate 17 to check unstable fluidity, they can be loaded or unloaded simultaneously, thereby facilitating the manufacture and maintenance of the inner tubes.
