CONSTITUTION:The single core optical fiber cords 2a and 2b... as well as 2'a and 2'b... of optical fiber cables 1, 1' are inserted and fixed to the collars 3a and 3b... of a connector jack 5 as well as the collars 3'a and 3'b... of a connector plug 5', respectively. When in this state the colars 3a and 3a', 3b and 3b'... are made concentrical by being guided with the guide pipes 23a, 23b... of the jack 5 and the jack 5 and plug 5' are connected, then the collars 3a and 3a', 3b and 3'b press with each other in the width direction while maintaining concentricity by the coil springs 26... of the plug 5'and the cords 2a and 2a', 2b and 2'b... are thus coupled. This constitution yields the optical fiber connector which is easy to make and permits sure photo coupling.
