Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate interruption due to blinding by removing microorganisms grown on service water pipe such as cooling water pipe, etc., in power plant, for example, by mixing ozone adsorbed in an adsorbent with water periodically.
CONSTITUTION: The oxygen 7 as a raw material is sent to the ozonizer 12 by the blower 18 to ozonize it by silent discharge to obtain an ozone-containing oxygen, and the ozone-containing ozygen is cooled by the heat exchanger 19 and then sent to the ozone adsorption apparatus 20 where only the ozone is adsorbed and stored in an adsorbent, e.g., silica gel, etc. The ozone adsorbed in this way is sucked up under reduced pressure through the gas supply pipe 13 by means of the ejection effect of the ejector 37 and then injected in fine bubbles into water supplied from the pump 36 for the ejector, where ozone-dissolved water is made up and sent through the ozone-water injection pipe 16 to the water supply pipe 3 of the cooling water pipe 1. With such an apparatus in which ozone is generated by an compact ozonizer in advance and then stored in an ozone adsorption apparatus, the operational rate of the apparatus can be enhanced with small-sized facilities.
