Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect a direct current with high accuracy without making a slit, by feedbacking an output current deviation determined by a current collation circuit for a first and a second control circuits made of saturable reactors alternately placed in the sequence of the magnitude of exciting currents to cancel magnetomotive forces by one another.
CONSTITUTION: Exciting currents 1' and 2', 3' and 4' are selected for the cores 11 and 12, 13 and 14 of reactors which are equal to one another in current transformer operation time. Output windings 31 and 32, 33 and 34 are connected to each other so that a first and a second control circuits 1, 2 comprising AC power sources 61, 62 and maximum current preference diodes 75 and 76, 77 and 78 are provided. The slitless deviations of the small-ripple output maximum direct currents of the control circuits 1, 2 are determined by a common resistor 65 of a collation means without making an error due to the difference in resistance and temperature coefficient or the like. The magnetomotive forces of the cores 11W14 are cancelled by one another through windings 41W44 to which the deviations are feedbacked. As a result, a direct current flowing through primary conductors 21W24 penetrating the cores 11W14 is detected through a resistor 101 without making a slit.
