Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate mutual adverse effect to each other between two sets of control loops even if operated simultaneously by providing two comparators and providing different reference standard voltages thereat. CONSTITUTION:A synthesizer LCM synthesizes the outputs from a present laser LDI and a preliminary laser LDII. A light branching unit LBR is for example, a half mirror, which branches the light into the output to an output terminal OT to a transmission line and to an output to a photodetector LDT. The reference standard voltages VS1, VS2 of comparators CMPI, CMPII are different. The outputs of the comparators CMPI, CMPII are applied to laser drive circuits DVI, DVII to thereby control laser driving current.
