Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely stop the fine material being conveyed in a high speed state without giving any flaws thereto by so oscillatably constituting the aprons disposed between table rollers that they assume a horizontal state in conformity to the material while in contact with the material. CONSTITUTION:The material 1 having undergone finish rolling is conveyed to the cooling bed entrance side by table rollers 2. When it reaches the specified position, a drive rol 11 is moved leftward to raise straight levers 16 and oscillating aprons 21 by way of levers 13. When the aprons 21 rise upper than the top surface of the rollers 2, the material 1 is contacted to the surface of the aprons 21 in a tilting state to oscillate the aprons 21 until they assume a horizontal state in conformity to the side face of the material 1. Next, the material 1 subsequently oscillates the forward aprons 21 to a horizontal state. Axial braking force is given to the material owing to the friction force between the aprons 21 after the oscillation and the material 1, whereby the material 1 is stopped within the specified stop range.
