Abstract

PURPOSE: To dissolve easily powdered particles such as activated carbon, polymer, etc. in a short time by converting powdered particles on the way of supply to finely powdered particles with high pressure gas and jetting high pressure solution in such a manner that liquid film in the form of tapered one is formed.
CONSTITUTION: Powdered particles are supplied from a supply means to a supply pipe 1. High pressure air at a pressure of 2W3 atoms is passed through a temporary storage room 3, and jetted from a circular slit 2 to form conical air film tapered off towards the direction of supply within the pipe 1. The front part in the introduction becomes negative pressure and sucks powdered particles which are converted to finely powdered particles by collision and vibration. In a next step, high pressure water at a pressure of 2W3 atoms is passed through a temporary storage room 3', and jetted from a circular slit 2' to form tapered conical water film. Powdered particles in diffusion state are sucked into water by negative pressure to dissolve. In a further next step, powdered particles are completely mixed and dissolved in the water film, and transferred to a dissolution mixing tank provided at the lower part. By this precess, the deterioration in quality due to the blockade of the supply pipe caused by the solidification of powdered particles, can be prevented.
