Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the function even when primary current polarity suddenly changes, by further providing tertiary winding in cumulative arrangement to saturable cores to which a primary conductor is penetrated, installing secondary winding on the saturable cores and connects an AC power source, a full-wave rectifying circuit and output load to the secondary winding.
CONSTITUTION: Secondary winding 13, 14 are each wound on two saturable cores 11, 12 to which a primary conductor 10 is penetrated, and the winding are differentially connected in series. An AC power source 15 and a full-wave rectitying circuit 16 are connected to other terminals except the terminals in said series connection of these winding 13, 14, and output load 17 is connected at the output side of the circuit 16. This DC transformer is constituted in this way, but tertiary winding 18, 19 are newly wound on cores 11, 12 in addition to that and beforehand connected cumulatively through a resistance 20. Thus, excessive voltage is not generated at the terminals of the winding 13, 14 because the effect of short-circuit winding is produced at the winding 18, 19 even if the current polarity of the primary conductor 10 suddenly changes.
