Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the heat transmission capacity of a heat accumulating tank by making heat transmitting fins having spring effect in its structure inserted into a heat accumulating capsule with a capsule container.
CONSTITUTION: Heat transmitting fins 21 are inserted into the filling unit of heat accumulating material 3 in a heat accumulating capsule 20, and formed of heat conductive material stable against chemical reaction with the material 3 such as, for example, copper, brass, iron, stainless steel or the like. The fins 21 are formed in structure bent at their end in arcuate shape in thin plate in such a manner that a circle contacting externally with the end of the arcuate fins is slightly larger than the allowable tolerance maximum inner diameter of the container 2 of the capsule. Thus, the fins 21 have spring effect at their ends to closely make contact with the inner wall of the container 2 so as to enhance the fin effect of the fins 21.
